Outdoor Entertaining- Healthy Seasonal Dip Recipe

If you're looking for a healthy dip option for outdoor entertaining, here's a simple and delicious recipe for a seasonal Tomato Avocado Dip

Tomato-Avocado Dip (feta optional)


Ingredients:

  • 1 cup chopped tomato

  • 1 1/2 tsp.fresh cilantro (can substitute with parsley)

  • 1/4 cup crumbled feta (optional)

  • 1 Tablespoon fresh lime juice

  • 1/4 tsp. salt

  • 1/4 tsp. ground cumin

  • 1 ripe peeled avocado- coarsely mashed

  • 1 clove garlic, minced


Directions:

  1. Combine tomato, cilantro, lime juice, salt, cumin, avocado, feta and garlic in a medium bowl.

  2. Serve immediately or cover tightly with saran wrap and refrigerate until serving.


This dip a great option for outdoor entertaining as it pairs well with a variety of vegetables, making it a healthy choice for your guests. I love it with cut up celery sticks or Persian cucumbers for a crunch that hydrates you, increases the nutrients and fiber and keeps calories at bay!
